Simon’s Story –
I began my professional career in catering and hospitality management, completing four years combined training in college and placement both in the UK and on the continent.
I have spent the majority of my working life as a social worker and manager in mental health and hospice work.
Living mainly in the Northwest of England, I’ve always had a love for Scotland, visiting often to see friends near Stranraer. It was one day on a visit that I drove down the hill and fell in love with Portpatrick.
The search for a Bed and Breakfast to develop has taken a number of years but I needed to secure the right location. Driving down into Portpatrick was the eureka moment.
I am looking forward to providing a warm and friendly welcome to guests at No4 Portpatrick. I’ve always enjoyed meeting people and I’m excited about revisiting the catering and hospitality arena.
Looking forward to meeting you.
